Located on a working family farm and nestled on 130+ acres of private farmland; The Historic Venue at Old Holler Farm is a new events and wedding venue in Rural Hall, NC, convenient to Winston Salem, NC, Germanton, NC, Walnut Cove, NC, and Kernersville, NC.
We have an authentic farm setting that is rustic and classic. With on-site lodging options for up to 16 guests, this 54-acre property features a scenic mix of pastures, fields, pond and natural landscaping that is perfect for a host of spectacular photo opportunities. Blending history with a touch of rustic elegance, the historical cabin and natural landscape create the foundation for a wedding celebration that guests will talk about for years to come...

indoor and outdoor locations for each part of your wedding
The Historic Venue at Old Holler Farm offers an array of event location options to suit your needs. Our new reception barn is recently renovated and can seat up to 200 people. The barn will feature beautiful decorative lighting on dimmer switches, bathrooms and a large versatile area that can be used however you'd like. Outside, we have several fields...including a large open lawn overlooking the pond. On-site lodging is also available with a rustic log cabin and farmhouse to offer separate spaces for the bridal party and groomsmen to prepare for the big day.

booking the venue
When you book your wedding at the Historic Venue at Old Holler Farm, you have access to the entire property for the duration of your event.
Wedding Day - When you book the venue for your wedding day, you have access to the property from 9 am - 11 pm, with 2-hour access for wedding rehearsal the evening before the big day.
Wedding Weekend - Many couples enjoy celebrating their marriage over an entire weekend. Our venue is unique in the area and provides you the entire weekend from Friday to Sunday for your dream wedding celebration. Allowed to arrive at 3 pm on Friday to begin stress-free setup. Departure time on Sunday is 10 am. With on-site lodging for up to 16 guests and several options for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, after-party and brunch...planning your wedding weekend at the Historic Venue at Old Holler Farm is not only convenient, but will also allow plenty of time to enjoy all the special moments of your wedding celebration!

the log cabin
The cabin was built in 1796 and is one of the reasons why we call this property the Historic Venue at Old Holler Farm. The cabin is a great place to host birthday parties, family reunions, corporate retreats, weddings and any other special gathering.
For weddings....the cabin can be used as a place for the wedding party to get ready and prepare for the big day or serve as the rustic backdrop to the wedding ceremony or rehearsal dinner. The cabin sleeps 8 people and also serves as on-site lodging for the wedding party or out-of-town wedding guests.
The log cabin is also available for nightly and weekly rental through Airbnb. We coordinate our calendars to avoid double-bookings during events.
the modern farmhouse
We consider this the 'modern farmhouse' because it was built in 1975 and it features a more modern design than the log cabin. This house sleeps up to 8 people, with 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 full + sleeper sofa), 2 full bathrooms, modern kitchen, laundry, and a large screened in porch overlooking the pond.
This house is perfect for weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, or any other special gathering! For weddings, this house is the perfect place for the bridal party to relax and prepare for the big day; and also serves as on-site lodging for the wedding party or out-of-town wedding guests.
The modern farmhouse is also available for nightly and weekly rental through Airbnb. We coordinate our calendars to avoid double-bookings during events.
